In this month’s newsletter we highlight another valued TBN UK broadcast partner, Tony Cooke. Tony is a longtime associate of John Paul Jackson’s Streams Ministries, and is the director of the Streams Training Centre in England. Tony’s new series, Making Sense of Your Dreams, airs on TBN UK Thursdays at 11:30 p.m., repeated Sundays at 6 a.m. and Tuesdays 11:30 a.m.

“An uninterpreted dream is like an unopened letter.”

Thus goes a well-remembered quote from the Talmud, the ancient rabbinical text of Judaism. As a longtime teacher of dream interpretation, I consider this ancient Jewish proverb both true and sad. What I find so sad is the way in which many believers today dismiss dreams simply because they don’t know how to interpret them. As a result, these loving, encouraging, and sometimes healing dream-letters from the heart of God are left unopened, disregarded, and forgotten. What an incredible tragedy!

It is my deep conviction that many of our dreams emanate from God Himself. If this is true, then many of us, by leaving these dream-letters unopened, are simply dismissing the messages God sends us as incomprehensible. How sad to ignore and reject these personal love letters from the Father’s heart.

Because dreams are so mysterious to our Western mindsets, many believers I meet are ignorant of how to navigate through the interpretation of their dreams. Yet a basic understanding of dreams is available to all believers who are willing to dig for the treasure in the Word of God. And we are excited to be able to teach the biblical process for that through our new TBN UK series, Making Sense of Your Dreams.

You might wonder how we got involved in such an unlikely area of ministry. As pastors, my wife, Dwee, and I had the opportunity a number of years ago to attend a course offered by the late John Paul Jackson, who was an internationally recognised prophetic voice. That course literally changed the course of our lives, as John Paul shared how he and his team had been interpreting dreams on the streets of Las Vegas with a huge response.

As he shared story after amazing story, we were “hit” by something like a harpoon deep in our hearts — what we now know was a call from God. While we knew nothing at all about interpreting dreams, God gave us a passion for outreach to others in this area, and as we stepped out in faith God blessed our willingness to be used by Him in interpreting the dreams He was giving others.

In time we became personal friends with John Paul Jackson and began to join him in ministry. In 2009 he invited us to run his Streams training centre for prophecy and biblical dream interpretation in England. In that role we have trained thousands of individuals throughout the UK and Europe, Canada, India, South Africa, and elsewhere in prophecy and dream interpretation.

We have been excited to witness the work of God in the lives of individuals as they have gained an understanding of their dreams and the prophetic. Here are just a couple of testimonies:
