For our first newsletter of 2020, we hear from authors and children pastors Olly and Helen Goldenberg. They host the TBN UK parenting talk show At Home With God, which airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m., and repeats Fridays at 10:05 a.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m., and Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Family is at the heart of God’s plan for communities and nations. And while the modern family is under intense pressure, God’s principles for raising children are timeless. That’s why we are thrilled to join you on TBN UK with a second series of At Home with God, designed to help you put God at the centre of your home.
In addition to leading a ministry called Children Can, we have five active children of our own. Needless to say, we know how busy family life can be, so much of what we discuss on At Home With God does not require more time out of the day. We just need to be intentional about doing life as a family.
In this series we look closely at how we can help our children grow spiritually so they can stand strong wherever they are. It’s all about helping them grow in discernment and in the prophetic, and preparing them for their future. Have you ever wondered how to keep God firmly at the centre of your family? Or do you find yourself dealing with a character issue in your child? We delve into all of this.
We also dig deep into some practical challenges that parents face on a daily basis. You’ll hear from Pastor Ade Omooba of Christian Concern as we discuss faith and our children’s schools. We’ll also meet up with Ian Henderson from the Naked Truth Project to discuss how to navigate our children through the digital age.
We’re so thankful to the folks at TBN UK for the opportunity and the platform they’ve offered to help and encourage families to flourish in faith. We are also blessed to receive the praise reports from families telling us how this series has strengthened their homes.
