In this month’s TBN UK newsletter we are blessed to feature the ministry and outreach of Canon Andrew White, who served for nearly thirty years in ministry throughout Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt. Canon White is president of Jerusalem Merit, Emeritus Vicar of St Georges Church in Baghdad, Iraq, and president of the Iraqi Institute of Peace. His dynamic new programme, Miracles, Signs, and Wonders in the Middle East, airs on TBN UK Mondays at 7:30 p.m., and is repeated Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., Saturdays at 6 a.m., and Sundays at 9:30 p.m.
During my nearly thirty years of ministry in the Middle East, I had the privilege of leading a vibrant and joyful congregation in Baghdad — the only Anglican church in that city of over nine million souls. During that time God also led me into an outreach of reconciliation among Jews, Muslims, and Christians throughout the Middle East. The foundation I launched for that distinct purpose, Jerusalem Middle East Reconciliation International (Jerusalem Merit), continues to be a dynamic and exciting ministry through which we are able to reach so many with the gospel message of divine peace, love, grace, mercy, and reconciliation.
Throughout our time in the Middle East we did not simply experience the reality of “being in God’s presence,” but were overjoyed with the reality of God being in our presence. I am excited with the opportunity to partner with TBN UK in order to reflect on some of the great miracles, signs, and wonders that we experienced during our time in Iraq and the Middle East. I truly believe that our new series, Miracles, Signs, and Wonders in the Middle East, will enlighten you regarding the incredible reality and power of God’s manifest light working in the darkness of war, persecution, and national crisis.
We must not fail to understand that the Father, Son, and Spirit desire to show up in our circumstances (often suddenly), and long to be a part of our daily experience. Over and over again during our time in Iraq, God manifested powerfully and majestically in our midst, and we experienced the moving of His hand and the intervention of His power and authority at times when we were least expecting it. Whether in hostage negotiation situations, terrorist attacks, in hospital mortuaries among dead corpses, during devastating crises, at times of intense worship, or during radical prayer and contemplation, the Almighty never failed to show Himself strong and valiant on our behalf.
We must not fail to understand that the Father, Son, and Spirit desire to show up in our circumstances (often suddenly), and long to be a part of our daily experience.
In Miracles, Signs, and Wonders in the Middle East, we will be highlighting the miraculous and divine wonder which became an integral part of our daily experience in Iraq. Each week you will gain insight into many aspects of God’s movement in our midst and you will be inspired and encouraged to reach out to Him in your own households, communities, and nations. We will discuss the importance of embracing and cooperating with prophetic words, and you will learn about the ministry of angels, and the importance of dreams and visions.
Additionally, you will learn about God’s sudden intervention in providing the miraculous far beyond what seems to be rational and reasonable. You will hear about some of the resurrections that we saw in Baghdad and be inspired to reach out to the Life-Giver in fresh ways. And you will hear about some of the more extraordinary manifestations of the divine supernatural, such as the manifestation of gold in our midst and the dramatic unfolding of sudden words of knowledge.
I will also be discussing some of the great keys to experiencing God’s intervention, such as the centrality of the cross and the new covenant, the importance of radical worship, and the need to embrace a fuller understanding of the kingdom both in terms of allegiance and in relation to children.
I am grateful to TBN UK for providing us with a platform to share the powerful divine activity that has happened in our midst. It is wonderful to be able to reach so many people with this message of divine intervention in times of great suffering. I believe that now, more than ever, it is time to shine the spotlight on the powerful, miraculous nature of God. We look forward to sharing this crucially important aspect of God’s kingdom with all of TBN UK’s wonderful viewers.
Be mightily blessed!

Announcing the TBN UK Unity Tour!
TBN UK is touring the United Kingdom to visit churches and communities around the country. Our heart is to see local congregations empowered to reach individuals, families, and neighbourhoods with hope and healing, and for the body of Christ to be united as never before.
As we visit churches and Christian communities across the UK, we’ll record short messages with church leaders speaking about their congregations and their vision for their communities and the nation. These inspiring clips will then be broadcast on TBN UK’s Partner Time programme each Monday at 7 p.m., and will also be shared on our social media platforms.
Our TBN UK ambassadors will also speak to congregations about the dynamic local content we produce and how TBN UK can help build the body of Christ as we pursue our vision of introducing Jesus to every heart and home throughout the UK.
So don’t miss each week’s installment of Partner Time for the latest updates on the TBN UK Unity Tour, and find out what the Lord is doing through His Church across the UK.
